Nikisha N. Evans

Nikisha N. Evans, 56, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born on June 28, 1969, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late parents George and Cezanne Keen, Nikisha was a compassionate and uplifting spirit who left a lasting impact on many lives. She attended William Penn High School in Philadelphia. Nikisha also worked for both Lutheran Hospital and BioLife. She married her husband, Ryan D. Stukes, on June 22, 1996. Known lovingly as “Kisha bug” to her close friends and family, Nikisha always had a smile on her face. Her radiant presence would light up every room and bring joy to all who had the pleasure of getting to know her. Her impeccable taste for jewelry and fashion perfectly complemented her beautiful and vibrant soul. Nikisha was an avid traveler. Her favorite memories were spent on the road, visiting every place her heart took her. She especially enjoyed taking vacations with her favorite traveling companion, Rian, her precious granddaughter. Nikisha held fierce love for her family, cherishing every moment she got to spend with them. Nikisha is survived by her Husband, Ryan D. Stukes; Sons, Ryan K. Stukes, Rasheed Stukes, and Rashaad Stukes; Brother, Johnny Harris; Granddaughter, Rian Stukes; Aunts, Tony (Jerome) Williams, Hybernia (Melvin) Owens, Carol Stukes, Marjorie Davis; Sister-in-law, Michelle Talbert, and Brothers-in-law, Ray Stukes and Ronald Stukes; Cousins, Sean, Dayna, George, Sydney, and Jerome Jr; many nieces and nephews; and very special friend, Elijah Lockheart. A funeral service for Nikisha will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11AM at Advantage Funeral Home – Mungovan, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46802. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service.
