Norma married William Gilbert James and they were devoted to each other for 64 years. They built their life together in Westland, Michigan until they later moved to Zephyrhills, Florida.
She was known for her banana cakes by her family and friends. Norma enjoyed playing bingo, quilting and spending time with her family. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church, of Zephyrhills, Florida. Norma was very proud of her hole-in-one at a Florida golf course.
Norma is survived by her four boys, William (Sherry) James, Robert (Kim) James, Ronald (Brenda) James and Nick (Rebecca) James; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, her parents, Murray Woodrow and Dora Imogene Albin; her husband, William Gilbert James; a brother, Kenneth Albin; and daughter-in-law, Debra Jean.
A private Celebration of Life will be held. Memorial Contributions in Norma's memory made to a charity of the donor's choice.
