Paul E Goodridge Sr., 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025. He was born November 15, 1948, in Hartland, Maine, son to the late Ollie and Rosemond (Vernott) Goodridge. Paul was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran and worked for 20 years as a truck driver for Saturn Freight. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, and being outdoors, including fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife, Carlena Sue McKee of Fort Wayne, Indiana; children, Paul E. (Samantha) Goodridge, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Melinda D. (Steven) Goodridge Baughman of Woodburn, Indiana, and Laura M. McClure of Fort Wayne, Indiana; stepchildren, Kirk Burger, Brian Burger, Eric Burger and Vicki McKee; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brother, Harold Goodridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Vaughn, Barbara, and Peggy. A celebration gathering for Paul will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, followed by Military Honors. A reception will be held at 1:30 PM at American Legion #241, 7605 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809. Contributions in Paul's memory may be made to American Legion #241.
