

Paul Douglas Jackson, 55, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Doug was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 14, 1968, a son of the late Paul Jackson and Reva Baker. He was the owner of Circle J Transport and co-owner of Full Circle Maintenance & Repair with his wife Cheryl Jackson. Doug served in the United States Army for 14 years and was a member of American Legion Post 241. He was an avid outdoorsman, from an expert marksman, he loved camping, hunting, fishing and just being on the water where he seemed to be one with any vessel he was captain of. Doug always had a project going and loved to build things, he was everyone's handy man. Most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his family as he was an irreplaceable husband and father. Doug Jackson was a man who feared nothing and accomplished everything for those he loved. Doug is survived by his wife, Cheryl Jackson; children, Corbin (Casey) Jackson, Cheyanne Jackson, and Casey Jackson; stepchildren, Cody Lane (Crystal) and Torie Lane; grandchildren, Charlotte and Caroline Jackson, Adrien Hall, Stella Drake, and Demi Lane, Vada Lane, and Malakai Lane; and brother, Carl (Andrea) Jackson. He was also preceded in passing by his brother, Michael Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Contributions in Doug's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
