It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Philip D. Schwalm on December 27, 2025 at his home, with his sister by his side. He was born on December 16, 1951 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Paul and Dorothy Schwalm. Philip graduated from New Haven High School, Class of '70.
He dedicated many years as the manufacturing foreman for Zemco and in his spare time, enjoyed restoring street rods, was an avid NASCAR fan, fishing with family, singing while playing his guitar at Church and at home, but cherished time spent with family most of all. His bright smile would transform any room to immediate happiness.
He is survived by son, Adam (Karina) Schwalm; granddaughter, Natalyn Schwalm; sister, Cindy Squier; and several adoring nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lee Hoffman, Ronald Hoffman and Darrell Hoffman.
Memorial Service is 4 PM, January 10th, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior.
