Ramona worked as an Analyst at G.T.E., which became Verizon for over 45 years. She was a Steven’s Minister at Harlan United Methodist Church. She loved her family and especially her nieces and nephews. Ramona had seven cats that were her babies that she adored. She will be missed for her loving and warm personality.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alan Gilford, as well as siblings, Darla J. (Jeff) Kemery and Carrie J. (Chris) Mattern.
Ramona is preceded in death by her siblings, Michael D. Roberts, Cathy J. Hyndman and Lynn Roberts.
A visitation for Ramona will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
