Renay A. Rivers, 65, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born August 5, 1956 in Huntington, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Donald and Elsie (Feltner) Snider. Renay enjoyed crocheting and was a seamstress, upholsterer, cook, gardener and baker. Often known as Aunt Nay, mom, or grandma, she was a caretaker and second mom to many. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Brock) Tucker of Columbia City, Ind.; son, Jason (Brenda) Rice of Huntington, Ind.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Shafer of Fort Wayne; brother, Christopher Snider of Fort Wayne; and significant other, of 14 years, Ernest Gaff of Columbia City, Ind. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Bixler; and brother, Fayne Snider. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
