Mark lived an intentional, simple life of humility and gratitude finding joy in the smallest things. He knew no stranger and shared stories with those along his journey for he walked everywhere. Mark enjoyed listening to the music of Prince, Michael Jackson and the Doobie Brothers; as a former drummer in his own band, he would often 'drum' along on the steering wheel of his car.
He lived for his family and cherished the time spent with them, including his children, Rachel (Brad) Freiburger, Brandon Burtnett, Damian (Randi) Burtnett and Jason Burtnett; sixteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; multiple brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Bobby, Sandy, Mike, Jeff, Christine, and Beth which he loved dearly.
