Richard E. "Dick" Nowak, 79, of Decatur, Passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Born August 14, 1934, he was the son of the late Carl and Harriet (Schlegel) Nowak. He is survived by his daughter, Sue (Chester) Fox; sons, Tom (Darlene) Nowak and Mark (Christina) Nowak; sister Julie Stopher; grandchildren, Christopher, Luke and Jayson; great grandchildren, Landon and Shay. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Tracey Nowak and brother, Bob Nowak. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Jonathan Neipp officiating. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014, at the funeral home.
