Robert A. Shenfeld

Robert A Shenfeld, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He has survived by his wife Laurie Shenfeld, his children Isabelle Shenfeld, Kayla Morimanno, Taylor Roenneburg, (spouse John Roenneburg), Jason Shenfeld (spouse Heather), Danielle Shenfeld (spouse Chris), Zach Shenfeld (spouse Aly), and Jesse Shenfeld. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also survived by his mother Norma Shenfeld, brother Roger Shenfeld, sister Pam Shenfeld. Proceeded in death by his brother Dick Shenfeld and his father Richard Shenfeld.

Bob had many passions and talents. He loved his job and his coworkers, as he just retired from SWAC schools of 33 years. Music was his biggest passion, being a musician from a very young age, playing in several bands, could play many instruments, and taught others music as well. He was also a Tai Chi instructor and was an Army vet. He was a well loved and admired coach, as he coached track and cross country for over 30 years. He had a great sense of humor with a laugh and smile that lit up a room. Bob loved and adored his family, and his best buddy, his dog Mo. He was a loving father, husband, brother, son and friend. He will be missed by so many.

Funeral service will be 3:00pm, Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, 10145 Maysville Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 1:00pm, until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family.
