Ron graduated from Elmhurst High School and was an Army Veteran. He owned Lunz Excavating Inc. for 30 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #82 and was the Post Commander and a member of SAL. He loved spending his time at the lake and gardening.
He married his wife, Kristine Lunz, on October 2, 1999. She survives along with his sister, Cathy (Mike) Paff.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm.
Burial will take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne in memory of Ronald.
