Ronald L. Rhodes, 57, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 after a long battle with progressive MS. He was born in Fort Wayne, on September 5, 1960, the son of Donald and Dorothy Rhodes. He was a 1978 graduate of Snider High School. Ron was a graduate of Tokheim apprentice program, and also had a degree from Purdue University and Indiana Wesleyan University. He worked with Tokheim for 24 years. Ron was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Fort Wayne. He is survived by his parents, Don and Dorothy Rhodes; brother, Randy (Janet) Rhodes; daughter Anna Rhodes; niece, Nicole (Drew) Reminder; and nephew, Jason (Brittany) Rhodes. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:30 am at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, with Dr. Steven Roper officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 also at the funeral home from 4-7pm. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Churubusco, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
