SANDRA L. NOVAK, 73, passed away on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Sandra was a graduate of Central Catholic High School Class of 1959 and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafts and painting and loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her son, John A. (Kim) Novak of Hiram, Ohio; daughter, Donette (Jim) Braun of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Nicole Kidwell of Circleville, Ohio, Hallie Novak of Hiram, Ohio, Nick (Tasha) Braun of Fort Wayne, Sommer Braun of Chicago, Ill., and Morgan Braun of Fort Wayne; and great-grandchildren, Parker and Alexis Kidwell of Circleville, Ohio and Adalyn and Rylan Braun of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ruth Distel; and husband, Andrew J. Novak. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at St. Jude Catholic Church, with calling from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Calling also from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
