Sara E. Dixon, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her home. Born on December 30, 1937 in Decatur, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Dwight and Elizabeth Schultz. She was a devoted nurse, mother and wife. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gene Dixon; children, Nancy Dixon, David Dixon, and Cathy Hull; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Steven (Sandy) Schultz. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Dixon-Patterson. The family will hold a private service.
