I wanted to share my condolences on Scott's passing, for I know that he will be greatly missed. He was my insurance agent, but he was first a close friend of several of my family members, including my brother and his wife (Kirk and Linda Gumpp). I am so sorry that I did not know about his homegoing services, but I will certainly keep his family and friends in prayer. May you all experience God's love and comfort.

We are so sorry for your loss of Scott. I have known him for all of his life and his siblings as well, and have enjoyed many times at the Wallen Road homestead.
We know he will be missed by many as well as the Nelson family.
Love and PEACE to you all.

Ardie and Jim Nelson (Jim is Scott's mother's first cousin, his grandmother Wilson was the sister of Jim's dad).
We are in Washington state visiting our grandchildren and are so sorry we can't be with you all today.

Scott and I shared office space at Amstutz Insurance for over 6 years. We loved to rant, share ideas, and talk about our adventures while pursuing our wander-lust.
He was a volunteer at Town House Retirement Center to help the residents remain physically fit, going there every Wednesday. In his memory I am making a donation to that program to benefit the seniors he so compassionately gave of his time.

Dear Feichter Family,

Please accept my heart-felt condolences in Scott's homegoing. I will always have great memories of times and fun as good friends spent at Northwood Jr. High and Snider H.S.

I remember Scott as a smart and deliberate young man who represented and lived by high ideals and was loyal and true. I am certain he influenced many people through his life.

May God bring your family a great sense of peace as you navigate these days of loss.

We met Scott in 2006 when he joined our camping groups, the Indiana Meanderers and the Who's Yur Winnies. Over the years we have enjoyed camping, kayaking, hiking, geocaching, and exploring with him and his dog Stella. Scott had been President of both camping clubs for many years and almost never missed an outing. We will miss him so much but are grateful that we had the opportunity to meet and spend time with him. R.I.P. Scott.
