Scott was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Robert and Joyce Teeple. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School and graduated from New Haven High School. After graduation, he worked for Teeple Truck Lines.
He is survived by his brother, Doug (Chris) Teeple and a nephew, Kevin (Kally) Teeple. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be on January 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM at D.O. McComb and Sons - Maplewood Chapel, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with calling beginning at 11:00 AM.
