Shari L. Daniels, 70, of Fort Wayne, went to walk among the angels and her family and friends who have gone on before her on February 8, 2021. Born May 19, 1950 in Columbus, OH, Shari was the youngest of three children born to Jack and Marilyn (Paul) Daniels.
Shari's love for animals was known to all. She found pleasure in reading and working on projects around the house. She loved her family and was always protective of those she cared for. Shari had many occupations over the years, such as semi-driver for Seyferts, Blood Mobile driver for the Red Cross, and caregiver for Comfort Keepers. However, she was most proud of the years she did massage as a body work practitioner. Shari leaves behind her mother, Marilyn Daniels-McElroy; sister, Mary Arlita Plouffe; nieces and nephews; and her life partner, Trenda Miller. Shari was preceded in death by her father, Jack; and brother, Jack Jr. A bible verse that meant a great deal to Shari: Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Jesus Christ.
A private family funeral service will be held. Public visitation will take place from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home (1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne).
Memorial contributions in Shari's honor may be made to Allen County SPCA, Black Pines Animal Sanctuary, or Camp Red Cedars.
