Dear Jim,
As you already know, I was unaware of Sharon's death until yesterday at the LCC concert.  I could hardly believe that she was gone - I remember how great she looked last year at the concert and how happy I was to see her there looking so well.  And that is exactly how I will always remember her, with that incredible smile on her face and her wonderfully cheerful and caring personality.  It's no wonder she was able to enter heaven early, she was already so Christ-like she didn't need any more time here on earth.  And so I rejoice with Sharon in her victory after a long fought battle, but my heart is saddened by your loss Jim.  I know you miss her terribly, but remember that when your mourning time is over, Sharon would want you to seek out joy and find laughter again.

Dear Jim,
Surely there are many who, like me, haven't signed this guest book yet simply because words are so inadequate. But I'm taking this All Saints Sunday, a week after what would have been Sharon's 60th birthday, 34 days after "Christ mercifully received her into His care," to say we're so sorry for your loss, and we pray for you. Sharon was such a cheerful person. We moved to Ann Arbor in 1990, too late for our children (Nichole & Sean) to be in her classroom, but of course they and all of us were blessed by Sharon's musical gifts and just by her smiling face and Christlike personality.

I have never forgotten the kindness both you and Sharon showed me while student-teaching under you both WAY back in 1986-87.  I enjoyed you both so much, and learned SO much from you both.  You both set me on the right path of service to our Lord and His church.  I am SO sorry for your loss! Mrs Coe was the favorite teacher of both our sons. I loved how she would turn your music while you played and looked so happy doing it. She will be missed. Our family is praying for you Mr Coe to carry on and the pain to lessen day by day.

I'm so sorry, Jim. Sharon was such a kind, gentle lady and Christ's love showed through her every day. Sarah was blessed to have her for her second grade teacher and Tom was blessed to have you both as co-workers. So glad we got to see you both last fall. Now she's dancing with the Saviour.
