Sheila Ann Hedges, 63, of Roanoke, IN, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born November 14, 1959, in Ridgely, TN, the daughter of the late, JW and Clodie Braddy. She was a former Nursing Assistant at Luther General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Sheila enjoyed making dolls, cooking, creating new recipes, gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Sheila was a woman of strong unwavering faith.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Ricardo) Zapata of Fort Wayne, IN; Amy Hedges of Fort Wayne, IN; Tiffany (Adam) Hedges of Fort Wayne, IN; Danny (Nicole) Hedges of Fort Wayne, IN; Dylan Hedges of Roanoke, IN; 10 grandchildren: Ricky, Nathan, Amaya, Isabella, Noah, Lailynn, Adam Jr, Vivian, Wade,and Roxanne. Also surviving are siblings, Glenda (Ronald) Ray of Chicago, IL; Billy Braddy of Carutheresville, MO; and ex-husband Danny (Teresa) Hedges of Fort Wayne IN.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gary Braddy.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, June 9, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 5-8 pm Thursday June 8, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
