Steven was a lifelong brick mason working with Lawrence Building Contractors and McJohn Masonry for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2014. He was known for his creativity, kindness, compassion for animals, historical knowledge, and sense of humor.
Surviving are his sister, Michelle (Charles) Traina, and brother, Matthew Bodie. He also leaves behind his cherished dog, Freddie. He was a loving uncle to one niece and five nephews, with a special place in his heart for his brother Matt’s children Meghan and Cameron.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a date and time to be announced at Eel River Cemetery in Churubusco, IN.
