My heart has been saddened from the moment I found out about her illness and my thoughts have been with her and her family daily. I was blessed to have worked with Teresa at FWN for five years, and even more blessed to have been able to sit next to her for four of those. She made going to work fun and we laughed together a majority of those many hours. She was there for me through good times and bad times. She taught me not to take things so seriously and that everything would be ok. She was so proud of her family and was often sharing pictures and stories with me. Through her, I was able to get to know all of you more than you might imagine. Given that, I can't begin to imagine what you must be going through and am heartbroken for each of you. I am truly sorry that such a wonderful lady has slipped away too soon but am grateful to have been able to take a sliver of her time with me. She will always be a reminder to me to live life to its fullest and to not take my time for granted. Teresa Moreland, I will miss you dearly my friend.

To Terry and family, 
I was deeply saddened to hear of Teresa's illness and ultimately her passing. I am grateful for meeting up at Henry's one last time back in June. I feel honored to have known her as a friend. We worked together at FWN for many years. Like the life of the party, she was the life of the workplace. Everyone loved her, even when she told it like it was, which could often be what you didn't want to hear. I've learned very much from her. I am someone who can really sweat the small stuff. Many times I would come to her to get her advice on work and family problems. She would always tell me what I needed to hear. I specifically remember advice she gave me on my young son, who could be quite the handful. She told me to accept him and embrace his personality, as it is what makes him who he is. Like many others she has made me a better person, but more importantly a better parent. 

She loved you all so much. We have really missed her funny stories about family, friends and motorcycle travels. It eases the paint that she was able to spend a few years in retirement doing what she loved most, spending time with all of you.

What can a person say about Teresa that everyone doesn't already know?  Whenever Teresa was around, the party and fun just got better.  We all had the pleasure of getting to know Teresa through our Road Raven group of women "bikers" and yes, we all got to know that funny, witty and "very well dressed" wonderful lady.  We will all miss her very much.  (And I will never forget how special my Christmas was with the visit from Mr. & Mrs. Claus for all my grandchildren to experience.  It was one of the best Xmas's ever.)

I thank the good Lord for putting Teresa in my life so many years ago. I know I am one of thousands that are better for knowing her. Her humor and her ability to make each one of us want to live life to it's fullest was her gift to mankind.
