Thelma L. Baker, 95, of Fort Wayne, fell asleep in death on Monday, December 8, 2014. Born in 1919, she was an active member of the Sandpoint Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was married to Paul Baker for 41 years. He preceded her in death in 1980. Surviving is her niece, Marcella (Wiggs) Dellinger and a nephew, Michael Wiggs as well as several great and great great nieces and nephews. Thelma also had many friends who were dear to her like family. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ora and Jennie (Dafforn) Thurber; her daughter, Paula Stanley; her sister, Violet B. Wiggs; her brother Robert Thurber; and her nephew, Robert Thurber, Jr. A memorial service will be 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Sandpoint Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3630 Sandpoint Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior.
