Thomas Martin Dunn

Thomas Martin Dunn, 81, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born May 21, 1941 in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Everett “Jack” and Esther Dunn.

Thomas graduated from Central High School in 1960. He retired in 2004 as a Cad System Administrator from Dana Corporation, with 27 years of service. Thomas was also a Tool and Die Maker, and held a patent for a machine he designed. He was an avid woodworker and fisherman, but his true passion was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Jane A. Dunn of Fort Wayne, IN; children, Thomas M. (Tina Bellinger) Dunn II of Fort Wayne, IN, Troy M. (Cherie) Dunn of Kendallville, IN, Todd M. Dunn of Fort Wayne, IN, Teresa Smith of Churubusco, IN; sister, Pat (Dennis) Peters of Auburn, IN; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Dunn; and a brother, William Dunn.

A funeral service to honor Thomas' life and legacy will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. A visitation will also take place on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Indiana.
