Thomas James Wermuth, 69, passed away November 27, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born March 19, 1954 in Fort Wayne. Thomas graduated from North Side High School in 1972. He was the owner of Wermuth Distribution LLC and was a distributor for Little Debbie Brand snack cakes. Thomas was a member of Trinity English Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Wermuth of Fort Wayne, IN; mother, Jacqueline Hutmacher; son, Rob Wermuth; daughter, Brooke Wermuth; step-daughter, Nicole Gerardot; brothers, Al (Nancy) Wermuth and William Wermuth all of Fort Wayne, IN; and several grandchildren.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Clemmens Wermuth Jr.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, December 4, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 W. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
