On this day, April 23, 2025, Tonya Reilley-Stabler went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born on May 26, 1955 to Jack and Carolyn Reilley in Huntington, Indiana.
Tonya was a 1973 graduate of Homestead High School. She received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Indiana University majoring in Public and Environmental Affairs. In 2013, Tonya graduated from Saint Francis University where she received a Master’s Degree in Psychology.
On July 12, 2013, Tonya married the love of her life, Andrew Stabler. She loved her family and friends. She had a special love for all of her Great Danes. She and Andy enjoyed taking trips to Shipshewana and taking the Danes to the root beer stand in Huntington.
On hot days, you could find Tonya by her pool. She loved listening to Elvis, watching NASCAR and the NFL. As an avid reader, she had read almost every book authored by John Grisham. Her passion was being the voice of the children when she worked for SCAN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Rodney Reilley.
Tonya is survived by her husband; daughter, Shanon (Mark) Poyser; stepdaughter, Hollie (Dale) Stabler; stepson, Ryan (Kera) Stabler; brother, Kim (Beth) Reilley and seven grandchildren.
She will be missed by so many.
A visitation for Tonya will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 pm.
