Obituary of Vasilca Lovely
Vasilca Lovely, 95, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Vasilca was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 27, 1929, a daughter of the late George and Olga (Mihailoff) Arman. She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church. Vasilca enjoyed watching birds, every gift that she gave had a bird or butterfly on it. She had a passion for classic movies, Hollywood musicals, especially the golden era and listening to big band and Macedonian music. Vasilca also had a collection of over 1,000 videos and she was often known for her famous cheese ball at gatherings. She is survived by her son, Steve Lovely; daughter, Debbie (Mike) Swinford; grandchildren, Krista (Tony) Swinford and Nick (Danielle) Swinford; great-grandchildren, Hunter Battell and Colson Swinford; sister-in-law, Zivka Arman; brother-in-law, Phil Taylor; nephews, George Arman and Scott (Pat) Taylor; nieces, Diana (Del) Campbell and Tami Ellerbrock; great-nephews, Nickolas Arman, Alex and Andrew Campbell; and cousins, George, Joy and Demetrius Panagiotou. Vasilca was also preceded in passing by her husband of over 58 years, Ralph Lovely; infant brother, Christopher Arman; and brother, James Arman. Per Vasilca's request there will be private family services only. "The door of earthly life has closed behind her and on the wings of angels, her soul has entered the open door to Heavenly life."
