Velma Washburn, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born to the late Ralph Grace and Ruth Flannery on December 20, 1931 in Fort Wayne, IN. Velma is a member of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Campbell and Kathleen (Jim) Yates; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jamie) Hack, Robert Reniff, Jeannie (Travis) Ferguson and Kyle (Tenita) Evans and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Leonard Washburn. Funeral Service will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 1pm with calling 1 hour prior. Calling will be on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
