Vesta Ann Ware, 70, of Ft. Wayne, IN passed away on February 6, 2022, at home. She was born on March 30,1951 in South Bend, IN, to the late Wayne and Vesta (Doctor) Lee. Vesta was united in marriage to Mark Ware on September 27, 1969. They were married for 44 years. He preceded her in death in January of 2014. Vesta attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church for over 15 years. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, canning and quilting. Vesta also enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family. Survivors include a daughter, Vesta (J. Allen Jr) Kirkman of Hoagland, IN; son, Mark (Jill) Ware II of Huntington, IN; daughter, Tara Shearer of Hoagland, IN; 9 grandchildren, Bradley (Jamie) Kirkman, Branden Kirkman, Kevin Ware, Lydia Ware, Kellie Koepp, Katie Shearer, Alex Wesco, Ashley Wesco, and Andrew Wesco; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in passing by her great-grandson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Ft. Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation being held one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vesta's memory may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
