Victoria A Gillespie

Victoria Ann Gillespie, 69, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, and a lifelong resident. Victoria loved traveling, having been on over 20 cruises in her life. She loved any place tropical, and would collect photos and keepsakes of palm trees to always remind her of the beautiful beaches she visited. Surviving are her mother, Helen Miller; children, Blake (Maria) Gillespie, and Tracy (Fred) Gillespie; grandchildren, Trista, Breauna, and Blake Gillespie II, Christian and Kristin Raab; great-grandchildren, Ja'Shon, Janae, and Jeremiah Gillespie; half siblings, Michael R. Jackson, Linda S. Jackson, Kathy Gibson, Andy R. Jackson, and Tim F. Jackson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Victoria was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Frank Gillespie; father, Albert Miller; and half-sister, Dawn M. Jackson. Funeral service is 1pm, Saturday, January 28, 2017 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Visitation also at the funeral home, Friday, January 27, 2017, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
