Vivian W. Allen

Vivian W. Allen 96 passed away Thursday December 2, 2021 at Lutheran Life Village at Pine Valley in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born January 23, 1925 in Troy Township in Whitley County, IN, the daughter of the late Murland R. (Jim) and Robia E. Watters. Vivian graduated from Larwill High School in 1943 and International Business College in Fort Wayne. She was a bookkeeper for the accounting firm of Standford, Myers and Dewald and retired in 1979 after 21 years of dedicated service. Vivian was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and formerly of Westminster Presbyterian Church were she taught Sunday school for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Eugene E. Allen of Fort Wayne, IN; whom she married on January 21, 1949. She is also survived by a sister Norma L. Meyer of Coldwater, MI; several nieces and nephews and a sister in law Carol Watters of Columbia, City, IN. She was preceded in death by her brother, Garland A. Watters.

Funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday December 8, 2021 at Grace Presbyterian Church 1811 Fairhill Road, Fort Wayne IN., with visitation one hour prior.
