

Willard Frederick Henschen, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013 in the care of Parkview Hospice. He was born to the late Walter and Marie (Brudi) Henschen on June 17, 1931 in Aboite Township. He worked for Kuehnert Construction and retired from Brooks Construction in 1995 as a heavy equipment operator. He married Marceil (Hitzemann) Henschen October 8, 1955 who later died in 1996. He married Lois Weber in 2001. He was a Korean War veteran and served in the Army. Surviving are his daughters; Sandra Manck of Fort Wayne, Linda Doehrmann of Fort Wayne, son Steven Henschen of Fort Wayne, and daughter Rochelle Commins of Greenbelt, Maryland; wife Lois Weber Henschen and her sons; Timothy Weber, Dr. Stephen Weber, and James Weber; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters Gloria Zorger, Marcille Burtch, and Donna Zorger; brother John Henschen. He was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Funeral will be Monday October 14, 2013 at 12 noon at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W California Rd. with calling 1 hour prior. Calling will also be on Sunday at the church from 5-8 pm. Burial Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Reverend Mueller officiating.
