Mr. McCray was a good teacher at South Avondale Elementary School, and everyone respected him, he put his heart into teaching us. He also paid for me a membership  at the Melrose YMCA, and for that I'm grateful, back then we all went to to Boys Club, couldn't afford the YMCA, but he made it possible. I always remember something he use to tell us, Book of Ecclesiastic 'There a Time For Everything " To the Family , Mr. McCray will always be Remembered. I'm  now living in  Montgomery,  Alabama  with my wife for 33 yrs.
