Throughout his life, he has worked for the maintenance department at Sweetwater, the exterior team at Glenbrook Mall, and Omni Source.
In his free time, William loved playing his video games. The Legends of Zelda and Black Ops were his favorites. He was a very dedicated and hard-working man. The guy who you would go to for a quick laugh, the guy who could make you smile even in your hardest times, the goofy guy that all the kids loved. William was a joker in the best way. He had the biggest heart, and the most welcoming smile. He loved everyone! He also enjoyed working on cars and sharing his time with family. William was the type of guy to always help you out, even when he didn’t have much himself. A personal giver, if you will. As a son of Christ, he would say, “No need to worry, I am home now.”
William is preceded in death by his father, William Larry Morton Sr.
He leaves behind his family, which includes: his daughter Cecilia Manor, her husband Trevor, their two children, Stormigale Burke (daughter), Josefina Morton (mother), Liza Burke (sister), Mary Wright (sister), Adam Morton (brother), Evelyn Niemeyer (sister), Joshua Morton (brother), Charity Lemaster (wifey), his dog Diego, and many more.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Church of Jesus 2601 Alma Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46809, with visitation one hour prior. Committal and Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery with his father, William Sr.
