William "Bill" M. Preston

William "Bill" M. Preston, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 23, 2018. He was the son of the late Ray and Fern Preston. He retired from Perfection Biscuit Company after 33 years. Previously he had worked for General Tire in Wabash, IN for ten years. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and served honorably in the U.S. Army. Bill was an avid IU basketball fan and enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Carole J. (Imbody) Preston of Fort Wayne, IN; two sons, Timothy (Pauletta) of Defiance, OH and Michael (Christy) of Woodburn, IN; two daughters, Vicki (Tim) Siegfred and Linda Correll both of Wabash, IN; six grandchildren, Todd (Amanda) Preston of Woodburn, IN, Travis Preston of Pleasant Prarie, WI, Evan Preston of Bargersville, IN, Billy Correll of Fort Wayne, Michael (Monica) Siegfred of WI, and Sara (Dan) Sluss of Wabash; 6 great-grandchildren, Carrie, Elizabeth, and Sophia all of Woodburn, Logan, Alyssa, and Trinity all of Wabash, IN. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother Gene Preston, and two sisters Lillian Bloxson and Eloise Working. Service is at D.O. McComb and Sons - Pine Valley Park, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 am with an hour of calling prior to the service. Calling at D.O. McComb and Sons-Pine Valley Park, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Parkview Hospice or The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Food Bank.
