William Ray Waters

WILLIAM RAY "BILL" WATERS, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. Born May 26, 1933, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Ray and Lucile Waters. He was the owner of Waters, Inc. screenprinting for over 50 years. He was a long time member of the American Legion, Navy Club, 40 & 8, and AMVets. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing piano, and drinking beer. He maintained his wonderful sense of humor throughout his life. He is survived by his best friend and long time companion, Donna Rockey; children, Bill (Sundie) Waters, Jack (Karen) Waters and Amy (Favorite) Waters; stepson, Steve Rockey; stepdaughter, Sundie Waters; sister, Nancy (Jack) Endsley; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Nancy Panico. Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Friends may also call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at the funeral home.
