Yvonne A. Hyndman

Yvonne A. Hyndman, 91, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St. Anne Retirement Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born September 29, 1930 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Bernard E. and Ivon L. Kell.

Yvonne graduated from Huntertown High School in 1948. She worked at North American Van Lines in the office for 15 years and retired in 1989. Yvonne was a lifetime and faithful member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Steven (Sharon) Hyndman, Kenneth (Julie) Hyndman, both of Fort Wayne IN, Carol (Richard) Barsky of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Laura (Steve) Stemen of Columbia City, IN; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Phillip L. Hyndman, in 2007; siblings, Charles Kell, Monica Reinig, and Joan Meyer; and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Hyndman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also take place from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, with a Rosary at 3:30pm on Monday, May 9, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. Yvonne will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery.
