It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alice Inez Doss who left us on January 18, 2025, at the age of 95. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Born on October 28, 1929 in Bridgeport, Texas. Alice was the child of William Harlow and Bessie Lee Hunn. Throughout her life, Alice was known for her love of family, gardening, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She devoted her time and energy to family.
Alice is survived by her sons, Michael W. Doss and wife Lynda, Gene E. Doss and wife Kim, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, brother William R. Hunn, sisters Goldie Chilton and Ann Holt.
Alice was preceded in death by Edward D. Doss her husband of 54 years; sisters Jewel Crum, Joyce Stroud, Nell Snow and Laura McQuinn.
The family invites relatives and friends to celebrate the life of Alice Doss on January 25, 2025 at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. prior to services at 2:00 p.m.
