Family and friends are invited to visit at 9:00 am with the funeral service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville at 12:00 pm.
Allen was born on August 5, 1953 to Howard and Mary Champlin in Fort Worth, TX . He graduated in 1971 from Haltom High School, and worked for many years as a Security Guard for Crescent Properties.
He was a devoted son, a loving brother and a fun loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Allen enjoyed all types of music, western movies, John Wayne and the Three Stooges. He was a Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. He especially loved telling funny stories and making people laugh.
Allen committed his heart to Christ at a young age and carried that throughout his life. He was proceeded in death by his parents, father, Howard Champlin, mother, Mary Chancellor and her husband Buel Chancellor. Niece, Laurie Champlin.
He is survived by his brother, Don Champlin and wife Karen. Sister Karon Johnston and husband Nolan. Niece Rebecca Cody and husband John. Nephew Ben Johnston and great Nephew Hunter Firouzi. Aunt Thelma Benton , many loving cousins and cherished friends. He will be greatly missed.
