In Loving Memory of Aryanna Michelle Norris
August 26, 2011 – June 11, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved daughter, Aryanna Michelle Norris, who left this world far too soon at the age of 13.
Born on August 26, 2011, Aryanna was a bright light whose joy, kindness, and laughter touched everyone she met. She lived with a heart full of love and a soul full of music, spending her days singing, dancing with her sisters, and sharing endless giggles with her friends. Whether she was swimming, riding horses, or sneaking snacks from the pantry, she did it with a sparkle in her eye and a mischievous grin that warmed every heart.
Aryanna was a daddy’s girl, always eager to work out alongside him, ride bikes or challenge him to the next dance off. Her mom was her anchor and safe place, and together their bond was one that words can’t quite capture. She adored her siblings—Amber, Trinity, Lexi, Ashlynne, Andre, and Adrian—and found joy in everything from movie nights and scary films to long talks, music, and shared dreams.
Her love for animals, both real and stuffed, was only matched by her love for chocolate and Dr Pepper. She looked forward to visits at Grandpa and Grandma Terhune’s house, riding the Gator, feeding chickens and horses, and soaking up the simple beauty of being surrounded by family and nature.
Choir and show choir have been a huge part of her life. Making the Varsity Treble choir as a 7th and 8th grader; she also was a member of the Titanium show choir and the Chamber Mixed Choir. She made the TMEA All-Region Choir in 2023 and 2024 and she made the 2025 TCDA All-State Choir. Sports were a big part of her life—from early days on Dad’s basketball team to finding her true spark in volleyball. Her enthusiasm and love for the game inspired her sisters, Lexi and Ashlynne, to follow in her footsteps.
Aryanna was the kind of person who always looked out for others. She was a helper, a hug-giver, a smile-sharer—always thinking of ways to lift someone else’s day. Her warmth extended to every family gathering and holiday, where her presence made everything feel more whole.
Aryanna loved being silly and having fun—she had a gift for bringing laughter to any room. Her playful energy and goofy faces kept everyone smiling, and her joy was absolutely contagious.
She is survived by her loving parents, Keith and Kristy Norris; siblings Andre, Adrian, Amber, Trinity, Lexi, and Ashlynne. Grandparents Don and Susie Terhune, and Cynthia Schroeder; and a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold her memory close.
Aryanna enjoyed her Elevate youth group and a beautiful example of what it means to love deeply, live joyfully, and shine brightly. Her faith was woven into her everyday life. Whether she was praying for her family or her friends, Aryanna’s heart was always turned toward caring for others. Her love for Jesus was gentle, pure, and strong.
A celebration of Aryanna’s life will be held at International Harvest Christian Fellowship, June 28th at 12pm; viewing from 11-1145.
