

Asa Kenneth Hawkins, 36, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, in his home in Fort Worth after being cared for by hospice care staff nine days before his passing. He passed away in his home with his parents by his side.
A Visitation with the family will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, at Galileo Christian Church, 5860 I-20 Service Road, Fort Worth, 76119, with a Celebration of Life starting at 3:00 pm, with Reverend Doctor Katie Hays officiating. Burial will follow sometime later at the Alva Municipal Cemetery in Alva, Oklahoma, where Asa will be laid to rest with his older brother Caleb and his paternal grandparents.
Asa was born in Hardin, Montana, August 5th, 1989, and taken home from the hospital the day after his birth by his parents, Phil and Janet Hawkins.
Asa was an enrolled member of the Crow Tribal Nation, Crow Agency, Montana. He attended public school with FWISD and was an active member of the FWISD Indian Education Program that included educational opportunities provided by staff of the Great Plain Restoration Council and the Buffalo Commons. He attended Eastern Hills High School. He worked as a stocker and stock supervisor in various grocery stores in Tarrant County. He enjoyed BMX racing as a teenager and as an adult continued to monitor and watch the sport. One of Asa’s favorite spots in Tarrant County was always Cowtown BMX in Fort Worth.
Asa will always be remembered for his sharp wit, thoughtful and sometimes dark humor and his love for the outdoors.
Asa is preceded in death by his oldest brother Caleb, his maternal grandparents Earl & Sylvia Rice, and his paternal grandparents Carl and Lou Hawkins.
Asa is survived by his son Trevor Elliott Frasier of Burleson, Texas, brother Steven Wayne Hawkins of Norman, Oklahoma, sister Maria Joy Hawkins of Kent, Washington and parents Phillip and Janet Hawkins of Fort Worth, Texas, and by numerous aunts, uncles, relatives and medical providers.
