Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
She was born in May 1937 to Juan and Maria Enriquez in San Angelo. Aurora was the bright light that kept her family laughing and singing. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Aurora will join her parents in heaven.
Survivors: Those left to remember her include her husband, Ignacio Alcala; children, Michael Alcala and wife, Regina, Terri Davilla and husband, Anthony; grandchildren, John Tyler Alcala, Ryan Alcala, Michael Pickering, Brandon Pickering, Joseph, Justin, Dillon, Jaquelyn, Ana-Lisa, Ramiro and Anthony Davilla; sisters, Cecilia, Ruth, Mary, Carmen; brother, Juan Enriquez; loyal and faithful caregiver, Carmen Cantu; nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family members; and many dear friends.
