Beverley Ann Davis

It is with deep sorrow that we bear the passing of our beloved Beverley Ann Davis of Fort Worth, Texas. She spent her last moments with loved ones by her side. Beverley passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Born on December 15, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, Beverley Ann Davis was the second child of the late Joseph and Mary (Clark) Flanagan.

Beverley’s early years were spent in Chicago where she attended McCosh Elementary and Englewood High School. She relocated and established herself in Texas in the late 70’s, where she dedicated 30 years to the U. S. Postal Service. She then took on a second career at the Fort Worth Independent School District, retiring after 8 years of service.

Throughout her life, Beverley was known for her great work ethic, sophisticated style, and her infectious sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, tap-dancing, gardening and travel as well as spending time with close family and friends.

Beverley is survived by her Daughter Anita Marie Thomas, Daughter -in-Law Ursula Christian(Champion Blackrose Christian), Grandchildren; Azalea Walker, Majesty Christian Champion Christian. Sisters Renee’ Flanagan-Karriem, Linda Flanagan-Loggins. Sister- in-Law Mandolyn Flanagan, Brother-in-Law Harold Thomas. Nieces and Nephews Angela Flanagan-Fisher (Aaron), Leslie Flanagan-Bryant, Jason Karriem and Allison Loggins-Hull (Geoffrey), Great nieces and nephews Jenna, Julian, Courtney, Kylie, Joy, Jason, Jonathan, and Peyton and dedicated friend Cynthia Wooldridge (Herbert).

Beverley was preceded in death by her Sister Anita Marie Flanagan, Brother Edward Flanagan, and Son Champion Blackrose Christian.

The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Beverley Ann Davis’s legacy will live on in the hearts of friends and loved ones.

A funeral service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, US, on March 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

A committal service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, US, on March 14, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
