

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother Billie Odessa Farrar, on February 23, 2021. She was born, November 19, 1928, in Memphis, Texas to Carl Earl and Jessie Ann Brickey. She was 92 years old.
She treasured her children and welcomed every moment with them. She especially cherished her role as Grannie and then later in life Mee-maw. She was a dear friend to many. Those that knew her will never forget her tenacity, wit, sense of humor, and charm.
She lived a long full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and worker in the hotel service industry. She loved to bake sweet treats and had a passion for gardening. She was a faithful woman and trusted in God. She was a long-time member of South Park Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brothers and their wives Bobby Brickey of Weatherford, TX, Mack and Chevilla Brickey, and Tony and Dale Brickey, both of Albuquerque, NM; sister and husband Esta and Bill Graf of Keller, TX; three sons and their wives Scott and Angie Kring of Eustace, TX, Barry and Brenda Kring of Fort Worth, TX, and Billy Griffin of Crowley, TX; grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Sheri Kring of Fort Worth, TX, Justin and Cameron Trice, Fort Smith, AR, Jennifer and George Barbary of Mansfield, TX, Shelley McGlothlin and fiancé Scott Lee of Burleson, TX, Cody Kennedy of Lubbock, TX, Rachel Kring and companion John Pruitt of Fayetteville, NC; plus 13 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. All of you were precious to her.
She was widowed in 1962 by Fred Fletcher Kring, beloved father of Scott, Deborah and Barry. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband D.R. Farrar; daughter Deborah Ann Kennedy and great-granddaughter Chloe Madison Kring; brothers, Benny Brickey, Carl (Bus) Brickey Jr, and sister Rughyn Ann Weaver.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
The family sincerely thanks her Clark Road neighbors for their love, support, and friendship over the years graciously given to our mother.
