Billy was born January 31, 1935 to William and Bertha Tucker in Fort Worth. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1953. He was a Golden Glove Welter Weight Champion during high school. He served in the Air Force and was on the boxing team during his service. Billy married Donah Searcy in 1956. He served as a Fort Worth Firefighter for 27 years. When he retired he enjoyed his woodworking hobby and maintained a perfect yard.
Billy was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd and David; sister, Mildred; and grandson, Tucker.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donah; daughters, Lisa, Lexa and husband, Mike, and Lari; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cody, Dale, Amy, Blake, Billy, and Brenee; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Aubrey; sister, Dorothy; sister in law, Nancy; and many nieces and nephews.
