Joyce was born to Orville and Florence Beaty on Aug. 5, 1933, in McKinney. She was the youngest of four sisters, Laverne Miller, Chesley Beaty and Oleta Hail. She graduated from Trimble Tech High School and became a hairdresser. After her son and daughter graduated from high school, Joyce decided to go back to school and became an LVN.
Survivors: Husband, Oscar "Bubba" Wagner; son, Curtis Wagner and wife, Pam; daughter, Carrie Leeper and husband, Wayne; granddaughter, Cailey Leeper; and sister, Laverne Miller.
