

Brenda Diane Bradford passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 67. Brenda was born October 11, 1958, in Vernon, Texas to Mr. Buster Newman (Father) and Mrs. Martha Newman (Mother) She resided in the 5-1 community in Wilbarger County.
Brenda was a graduate of Crowell High School in Crowell, Texas. She was gifted by God to be an artist who created African American inspired artwork in forms of handmaid wooden expressions, paintings, and sewing, to name a few. Some of her artwork can be seen during Christmas time while driving through various neighborhoods. You will see her art as sports themed lawn decor, seamstress masterpieces in living rooms and bedrooms, and even Greek paraphernalia.
Brenda was married to the love of her life for 48 years, Rev. Charles Bradford. Together they raised a loving family, Anthony Bradford of Fort Worth and Emmanuel Bradford of New Jersey.
She was a woman with deep faith who always kept God first. She was passionate about her grandchildren, Anthony Jr (AJ), Aubrey, and Addison. She loved to attend her grandchildren’s events and supporting them through gymnastics, football, baseball, and school endeavors as one of their biggest fans.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Charles Bradford; sons Anthony Glen Bradford (Wife Nadia Bradford) and Emmanuel Charles Bradford (Wife Dr. Kelsey Bradford.
She is also survived by her brothers - Robert Newman of Wichita Falls TX, F.A. Newman of Thalia TX, Earnest Newman of Vernon TX. She is also survived by her sisters - Retha Kay Willingham of Dallas TX, Lillian Reece of Henderson TX, Sharonda Jackson of Forney TX, Martha Rae Newman of Burkburnett TX, Michelle Newman of Carrolton TX, and other loving Brothers and Sisters in Dallas and East TX.
She was preceded in death by Buster Newman (Father), Martha Ann Newman (Mother), Violet Betsy Brown (Sister), Jimmy Ray Newman (Brother), and Emmitt James Newman (Brother).
