Buddy was the youngest of 5 children born on 3.11.1936 in Fort Worth, Texas to Clyde and Bessie Anderton. He enjoyed camping with friends and family, playing games, square dancing, fixing things and going to WinStar. He retired after 21 years of being an auto mechanic for UPS to spend time in the country gardening and raising animals.
Buddy served in the Army for a brief time, before his service was cut short due to the need to take care of his three oldest children. Then he met and married the love of his life, Billie Marie Anderton. They enjoyed 57 years of marriage and together raised 6 children: Ricky Anderton, Sharon James, Randy Anderton, Pam Kuykendall, Kim Stafford, and Gail Todd. He was also known as a beloved Pawpaw to many. He is survived by his wife, 6 children, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and will be sorely missed by all.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Buddy touched are invited to the Laurel Land funeral home, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth TX from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
