He was born November 30, 1956 in Mexico. He married Celia Montes September 11, 1972. Candelario worked as a carpenter for The Beck Group & Harris Associates.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabino and Maria Isabel Montes.

Candelario is survived by his wife Celia; children, Candelario Jr., Sandra Montes-Torres, Enrique Montes, Celia Leyva, Xavier Montes, David Montes; grandchildren, Andrew Torres, Seth Torres, Secily Torres, Bryten Montes, Ashlyn Montes, Madison Leyva, Emma Leyva, Annalise Leyva, Xavier Montes, Victoria Montes, Lincoln Montes, Liberty Montes; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.
