Carl was born in Ralston, Oklahoma on April 30, 1936, the youngest of five children. At the age of 5, Carl moved to Paris, Texas where he grew up, and then to Dallas in 1954. All of his adult life he worked in the feed industry. He was a feed mill manager in both Abilene and Hamlin, Texas, as well as Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2003, he started his own company, Carl Corlee Sales, where he sold feed mill equipment and parts as well as doing service work in feed plants.
Carl was a proud member of Southside Church of Christ in Fort Worth.
Carl is survived by his loving wife Ellen, son Alvin Corlee of Tuttle, Oklahoma, daughters; Terri Sartor and husband Mickey of Abilene, Texas, Sonja Wood of Abilene, Texas, Michelle Hacker and husband Gene of Noble, Oklahoma, Tonya Allison and husband John of Blanchard, Oklahoma, stepsons; Joseph and Matthew Groves of Garland, Texas and brother Charles Corlee and wife Peggy of Kansas City, Missouri, 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Carl will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Laurel Land FH - Ft Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134.
There will be no graveside service.
