

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Langston, who went to be with the Lord on May 1,2025 at the age of 84. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and her presence will be missed by all who knew her.
Born on May 9, 1940 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Carol Langston was the child of Walter and Shirley Porter. Throughout her life, Carol Langston was known for her infectious fun personality and her love for her family.
She devoted 16 continuous years of her time and energy to caregiving.
Carol Langston is survived with deep sorrow by daughter Cindy Cartwright, husband Greg, daughter Teresa Horton, husband Timmy, Grandchildren Bobby Cartwright, wife Veronica, Brian Cartwright, wife Candice, Tara Pryor, husband Joseph, Kylar Horton, wife Samantha, Kyndal Weaver, husband Brady, great-grandchildren Aaron Cartwright, Allen Cartwright, Levi Pryor, Gage Pryor, Sutton Weaver and Bowen Weaver.
Siblings Walter Porter Jr., wife Barbara, Nancy Marrs, Gloria Everich, husband Johnny and many more family and friends.
Carol Langston was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Shirley Porter, husband Bobby Langston, sister Connie Cooke and nephew Billy Lassiter.
The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of Carol Langston's life on May 8, 2025, to be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel of Chimes, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134.
Visitation will Start at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral service to follow.
Burial service will follow immediately after at the Springtown Cemetery in Springtown,Texas.
We would also like to send out our sincere thanks to all the staff at Azle Manor Nursing Home for the wonderful care and endless love they gave to Carol over the last 6 years.
The family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Carol Langston's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
